Eddie Plank pitched 17 years (from 1901 to 1917), 14 with the Philadelphia Athletics. He won over 20 games 8 times and had at least 14 wins in 16 of his 17 years, on his way to 326 career wins (13th all time), with just 194 losses, a winning percentage of .627.
Plank has a career earned run average of 2.35 (22nd all time) , with 410 complete games (16th all time) and 69 shutouts (5th all time) in 529 starts (35th all time), and had 2246 strikeouts (58th all time) over 4495 innings pitched (28th all time). He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1946.
